NYC teachers defy union warning not to wear T-shirts to support the NYPD

And the response from teachers? Boom:

Of course, this brings out the allegations or racism:

And there’s more than a little hypocrisy here. The Post obtained this email from a United Federation of Teachers official warning the teachers about their public support for the NYPD:

“as public employees, one must remain objective at all times. Certain T-shirt messages may appear to be supportive, but individuals (parents, students) may see a different meaning in that message.”

But that same union didn’t seem to mind teachers marching will Al Sharpton in his anti-NYPD protest in late August:

“Speak out!” Wait, don’t say that. Only say what we tell you to say.
