Stunning Under-reported news that Texas EMT who responded to fertilizer blast arrested for having pipe bombs. 12 died. Imagine if Muslim!

Awww. Poor Geraldo Rivera is just catching up on “under-reported” news that Twitchy reported yesterday.
Bryce Reed, a West, Texas, paramedic who responded to last month’s deadly fertilizer plant explosion, was arrested Friday on charges of possessing an unregistered destructive device. Authorities declined to speculate on any connection to the plant explosion.
But that won’t stop Geraldo from speculating on how the media would have covered Reed’s arrest “if Muslim.” The tweet was retweeted by Salon’s Joan Walsh.
Reminder: Geraldo blamed the Boston Marathon bombings on “homegrown anarchists.” When he could no longer get away with pushing that theory, he “expressed regrets,” not to the victims of the attack, but “to my Muslim brothers/sisters.”

For the record, here’s a brief roundup of the little-known media outlets outside of Texas that covered the totally buried story:
- USA Today
- Daily Mail
- Fox News (via the Associated Press)
- NBC News
- ABC News
- CBS News
- Los Angeles Times
